Ordinary UAE passport holders can normally enter Serbia visa-free for visits up to 90 days within six months. This is a nationality-based rule, not a benefit of UAE residence.
A Serbia visa is generally required for ordinary Indian passports unless you meet a separate qualifying entry exemption. Living in the UAE alone does not waive the visa.
A Serbia visa is generally required for ordinary Pakistani passports unless you meet a qualifying entry exemption. Your reason for travel, documentation and applicable official route still matter.
The country shown on your passport controls the baseline rule. Check Serbia’s official nationality regime and any valid qualifying third-country document.
SERBIA VISA ASSISTANCE
You may not need to apply for a separate Serbian visa if you already hold a qualifying travel document.
Serbia allows certain foreign passport holders to enter without a Serbian visa when they have a valid visa issued by a Schengen country, an EU member state, the United Kingdom or the United States.
There is also an exemption for holders of qualifying residence permits issued by Schengen countries, EU member states or the United States.
Under this exemption, the permitted stay is generally up to 90 days within six months and cannot extend beyond the validity of the qualifying visa or residence permit.
Check carefully before relying on an exemption.
The validity, type and entry conditions of the document can matter. Confirm the requirements with official Serbian guidance and, where necessary, the embassy or your airline.
A UAE residence permit alone does not qualify under this particular exemption.

A qualifying foreign visa may support a short visit, not a right to work or register longer-term employment. Check any multiple-entry and validity conditions with the Serbian authorities before departure.

Up to 90 days within a rolling 180-day period for eligible tourism, private visits, meetings, business and other permitted short stays. May be single-, double- or multiple-entry.

Visiting Belgrade, Novi Sad or another part of Serbia? You may need a short-stay C visa, depending on your passport and any applicable entry exemption. For a tourist application, prepare evidence showing why you're visiting, where you plan to stay, how you will support yourself and when you intend to leave. Accommodation information, an itinerary or relevant tourist booking evidence may be requested.
Your host may need to provide a formal invitation. For private visits, Serbian authorities may require an invitation certified by the relevant authority in Serbia. The invitation should identify the host and visitor, explain the purpose of the visit and contain the information required by the Serbian authorities.
Visiting a Serbian company, attending a conference or exploring a business relationship? A business C visa may be appropriate for permitted short business activities. You may need an invitation from the Serbian company, details of the planned meetings and evidence explaining the professional reason for your trip. Business visits and employment are not interchangeable. If you plan to take up employment in Serbia, check the relevant D visa and work-authorization rules.

Can you apply for a Serbia visa online?
Yes. Serbia accepts qualifying visa applications through its official Welcome to Serbia portal.
However, applying online and receiving an electronic visa are not the same thing.
Serbia introduced electronic Digital Travel Authorizations in April 2025 for eligible applicants from supported passport countries.
Depending on your circumstances, you may receive an electronic authorization or be required to obtain a physical visa sticker.
Before applying, confirm whether your nationality and application type are eligible for electronic issuance.
You should also check whether an embassy appointment or passport submission is required.

An online visa application is not automatically an electronically issued visa. Serbia introduced electronic Digital Travel Authorizations on 23 April 2025, but electronic issuance remains nationality- and case-dependent.

Holding an Indian passport and living in Dubai or another UAE emirate?
Serbia's published regime generally requires ordinary Indian passport holders to obtain a visa.
Your UAE residence does not automatically remove that requirement.
However, a qualifying existing visa or residence permit may provide a separate entry exemption.
If you need to apply, start by identifying whether your travel is for tourism, family, business, employment or another purpose.
SERBIA VISA ASSISTANCE
Holding a Pakistani passport and planning to travel to Serbia?
Serbia generally requires ordinary Pakistani passport holders to obtain a visa, unless an applicable exemption is satisfied.
A valid UAE residence permit alone does not establish visa-free entry.
Your next step is to confirm the correct visa category, official application procedure and supporting documents for your purpose of travel.
If you already hold a qualifying Schengen, UK, EU or US visa, check whether you can use the relevant entry exemption before applying for a separate Serbian visa.

Your passport must be issued in the previous 10 years, have at least two consecutive blank pages and remain valid at least 90 days after the planned departure. Complete the correct application and provide a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo.
A tourist needs appropriate travel or accommodation evidence. A private visitor may need a certified invitation from a Serbian host. A business visitor may need an invitation from a Serbian company.
Prepare evidence of sufficient means for your stay, accommodation and return. Adequate valid travel medical insurance is a general visa requirement; Serbian entry guidance recommends at least €20,000 in medical-cost coverage.
Your UAE legal residence may affect which diplomatic mission handles your case. A D visa for employment, study or family requires documents specific to the relevant long-stay ground.

Serbia’s border-entry guidance considers €50 per day sufficient. Use the calculator as an illustration, not as a guaranteed embassy bank-balance test. Seven days means €350; ten days €500; fourteen days €700.
Your application may still need additional evidence about the source of funds, accommodation and return plans. Appropriate and valid travel medical insurance is required for the visa application; Serbian entry guidance recommends at least €20,000 of medical-cost coverage.

A tourist C visa may not be the correct entry permission.
Serbia uses the D visa for qualifying longer stays, including employment and other recognized purposes.
For employment, the appropriate D visa or residence-and-work authorization depends on the job, employer, nationality and duration of the proposed work.
A qualifying D visa for employment can permit work under the applicable Serbian rules. Longer arrangements may require a single residence-and-work permit.

What remains outside our control
We cannot issue Serbian visas, guarantee approval, reserve government appointment slots or change official processing decisions.
You remain responsible for supplying accurate personal information and completing any steps that must be performed by the applicant.
The Serbian embassy or migration authority alone decides eligibility, approvals, refusals and entry permission. We can support truthful document preparation and a clear submission checklist, not promise higher success percentages or special treatment.
Discuss My Serbia Visa RequirementsLong-term plans
A Serbia C or D visa is not a Serbian passport, citizenship certificate or automatic permanent residence. These are separate legal pathways.
A C visa covers qualifying short visits; a D visa may support eligible longer-term entry. A person planning to live in Serbia generally needs an appropriate temporary residence or single residence-and-work permit beyond their visa conditions.
Serbia’s official guidance generally allows eligible foreigners to apply after at least three consecutive years of approved temporary residence or residence-and-work status, subject to absence limits and other conditions. Time spent studying may be counted differently.
A foreigner with permanent residence may apply for naturalization where requirements are met. The standard admission route includes adulthood, at least three consecutive years of registered residence, a declaration recognizing Serbia as one’s state, and ordinarily release from previous citizenship or a qualifying exception. Citizenship is not automatic.
A Serbian passport is available after obtaining Serbian citizenship through the applicable legal process—not by purchasing a tourist visa or paying an agency. There is no government-guaranteed “Serbia passport from visa” package.
Realistic expectations
There is no official, reliable Serbia visa approval percentage for individual UAE residents, Pakistani passport holders or Indian passport holders that we can responsibly give you. Approval depends on the applicant’s facts and the Serbian authority’s assessment.
We help you check for missing evidence, mismatched dates, incorrect visa categories, unverified invitations, unclear funding and inconsistent application answers. That improves preparation quality and can reduce avoidable mistakes, but it is not a measurable or guaranteed approval-rate increase.
If you have a prior refusal, tell us the stated reason. We can discuss the permitted administrative preparation steps and refer you to official or qualified legal guidance where needed.

It depends on the passport, not UAE residence alone. Emirati ordinary passport holders generally qualify for visa-free short visits. Indian and Pakistani ordinary passport holders generally need a visa unless a qualifying exemption applies.
A valid qualifying Schengen visa may allow entry under Serbia's separate exemption. Check the visa's validity, entry conditions and the permitted length of stay before travelling.
Certain valid UK and US visas also qualify under Serbia's exemption rules. The exact document and travel circumstances must meet the Serbian requirements.
Not by itself. A UAE Golden Visa is a UAE residence permission, not a substitute for the nationality-based Serbian entry rules or the qualifying third-country documents recognized by Serbia.
A C visa permits a qualifying short stay of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to the dates, entries and duration authorized on the issued visa.
C is primarily for qualifying short visits, including tourism and business. D covers qualifying long-stay purposes of 90–180 days, such as certain employment, education and family circumstances.
You can apply online where the official process permits it, but electronic issuance is available only to supported applicants. An online application may still result in a passport visa sticker and additional consular steps.
The Welcome to Serbia portal lists €90 for a C visa application. The Serbian Embassy in Abu Dhabi lists €92 in its consular price schedule. The amount depends on the channel and any applicable exemption.
Serbia's general entry guidance uses €50 per day as the sufficient-funds benchmark. You should also be able to explain relevant accommodation and return-travel arrangements. This is not a universal fixed bank-balance requirement.
You normally need evidence of your purpose and accommodation. A tourist may submit appropriate accommodation or travel arrangements, while a private visitor may need a certified invitation. Business visitors may need an invitation from a Serbian company.
The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says most procedures take 15 days, with up to 30 days in justified exceptional cases. These are general procedures, not guaranteed completion dates.
A tourist C visa is not a general employment permission. Work-related entry depends on the actual activity and applicable D visa or residence-and-work authorization. Certain narrowly defined short business activities are treated differently.
No. Serbia is not a Schengen member. A Serbian visa does not automatically authorize entry into Schengen countries, which operate under their own visa and entry rules.
Use the official portal and instructions associated with your application. Serbia separately provides verification for an issued Digital Travel Authorization. For a refusal, check the decision notice for available remedies; the Abu Dhabi embassy lists a €100 appeal charge, but eligibility and procedure depend on the decision. The entry, fees, visa-type and work-related answers are supported by Serbia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Serbian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Welcome to Serbia, and the European Commission's Schengen membership information. Ministry of Foreign Affairs +3
No. A visa is permission to travel or stay under stated conditions. Citizenship and a Serbian passport require separate legal processes. The normal residence-to-naturalization route has substantive residence, citizenship and documentation conditions.
We cannot quote a reliable nationality-specific approval percentage from official Serbia government sources. We can help check your application’s completeness and consistency, but no agency can promise approval or a percentage increase.
